Jill's career in recruiting began while she was in college, working for Sodexo, where she spent three years gaining hands on experience across all areas of Human Resources while earning her degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology.

In 2013, she returned to her hospitality roots, joining The Inn at Little Washington to lead recruitment for what would become a three Michelin starred restaurant and the longest running Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond property in the United States. It was there that she developed a passion for connecting exceptional hospitality professionals with world class organizations.

Through the relationships she built at The Inn, Jill was introduced to a growing Washington, D.C. based restaurant group preparing to expand into new markets. As the company's recruiter, she partnered closely with the founders of Matchbox and Ted's Bulletin, helping build teams and staff multiple restaurant openings during a period of rapid growth before the company transitioned to new ownership.

Drawing on her industry experience and extensive network, Jill went on to cofound The Talent Shop, where she spent six years partnering with some of the hospitality industry's most respected brands. She successfully recruited for casual and fine dining restaurants, bakeries, wineries, breweries, boutique inns, luxury hotels, and Michelin starred restaurants, helping clients build high performing teams and supporting candidates as they advanced their careers.

Today, Jill works independently, taking on a select number of searches at a time so she can provide every client with the personalized attention, responsiveness, and partnership that have defined her career from the beginning.
